• bill “exists in a state of quantum uncertainty,” which also happens to be one of dipper’s greatest fears
• he had a family, but he doesn’t anymore
• bill cipher is not actually his name, just a “username” that humans can hear and understand (because his real name would destroy a human who hears it, in a mix of ecstasy and horror)
• there are more demons, and they are “lucky if they’re on good terms” with bill
• tad strange is “a real square” (in other words: the character cecil baldwin is rumored to be voicing is canon!)
• he seems be a part of some sort of hierarchy of demons; he talked about “dressing for the job you want, not the job you have” and “angling for a promotion”
