this might sound easy, but please keep in mind that john mulaney has said “whoa, that tall child looks terrible! get some rest, tall child! you can’t keep burning the candle at both ends!” and cecil palmer has said “alligators: can they kill your children? yes.”

To make it more clear, here’s the dialogue again:

Acerola: Uncle Kuchinashi! (Kuchinashi = Nanu)

Nanu: Not here.

Acerola: Yes you are!

Nanu: I mean, nobody else is here but me.

Acerola: This is awful! We’ve received complaints that a large group of Nyarth are napping on the neighbour’s lawn!

Nanu: Got it! I’ll be right there!

Acerola: That’s the Island King for you! You come through when it counts!

Nanu: Napping with the Nyarth is part of my job, too!

Acerola: You’re going there to nap?!
