Rouxls Kaard’s shop is the only one in both games to be almost completely devoid of color. Not sure if it means anything, but something I just noticed and thought was really weird.
Seriously, in Undertale, every shop had some of the most colorful, detailed art in the game:
Then, in Deltarune, Seam’s “seap” background was…less colorful and detailed, but look at it:
Seam himself is still very colorful!
But, then, we get Rouxls:

Who is…drawn a bit more detailed, but is definitely not his usual blue here. Rather, he and his shop are completely in black and white, in a game where even the battle sprites are finally in color!
In fact, the only color on this entire screen is from the heart cursor, and when Rouxls opens his mouth.
Probably a minor detail, but still, it stands out. Is he okay after the player trashed his puzzles? Is his shop screen just unfinished? Or…is it simply very, very dark in there?
